Lemoyne Municipal Authority – Clark & Walton Street Pump Station Replacements

Key Accomplishments

• The company installed new wet wells within the existing Clark Street and Walton Street ejector structures under the two accepted deductive alternates.
• JCC installed two Owner-furnished Gorman-Rupp suction-lift packaged pump stations with ReliaSource aboveground enclosures.
• The work included structural modifications to the existing pump-station structures, new pipe penetrations, concrete collars, stone placement, backfill, and restoration.
• JCC connected the new stations to the existing incoming gravity sewers and force-main systems.
• The company furnished, installed, and continuously operated temporary bypass-pumping systems while each existing station was removed from service.
• JCC installed the mechanical suction and discharge piping, valves, fittings, pipe supports, gauges, air-release piping, and related process accessories required for complete pump-station operation.
• The work included unloading, positioning, anchoring, grouting, and mechanically connecting the Owner-furnished pumping equipment and enclosures.
• JCC coordinated its general construction work with the separate Electrical Construction Contractor responsible for electrical power, controls, raceways, wiring, and associated electrical improvements.
• The company completed excavation, trenching, backfill, compaction, paving repairs, lawn restoration, site protection, cleanup, testing, startup coordination, and closeout documentation.
• Johnston Construction Company performed Contract No. 1 – General Construction for the Lemoyne Municipal Authority Pump Station Replacements – Clark & Walton Streets project in Lemoyne Borough, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
• The project replaced two existing wastewater pump stations serving the Lemoyne Municipal Authority collection system.
• The work occurred at the Clark Street Pump Station and Walton Street Pump Station, which were located within established residential neighborhoods.
