  • The project required coordination with Spotsylvania County, Hazen and Sawyer, utility providers, tank suppliers, electrical and fiber optic contractors, geotechnical engineers, testing agencies, chemical system suppliers, Massaponax High School stakeholders, inspectors, and project closeout personnel.
  • The project required compliance with the contract documents, February 2025 Massaponax EWST specifications, Addenda, erosion and sediment control requirements, water main testing and disinfection requirements, electrical requirements, tank construction requirements, geotechnical recommendations, safety requirements, submittal requirements, and project closeout requirements.
  • Johnston Construction Company performed the Massaponax Elevated Water Storage Tank project for the Board of Supervisors of Spotsylvania County, Virginia. The Owner-Contractor Agreement identifies the project as the construction of the Massaponax Elevated Water Storage Tank under Contract No. 25-20-SD, with Spotsylvania County as Owner and Johnston Environmental Company dba Johnston Construction Company as Contractor.
  • The project was designed by Hazen and Sawyer, P.C., with Spotsylvania County identified as Construction Manager.
