JCC coordinated demolition sequencing with the County to maintain station access and continued operation.
  • A major component of the project was construction of a new rectangular cast-in-place concrete wet well expansion. The work included structure excavation, shoring, dewatering, structural backfill, installation of split sleeves around existing 36-inch cast iron and 30-inch ductile iron influent pipes, sawcutting two openings in the 18-inch-thick wall between the existing and new wet wells, and completing connections to the existing station.
  • JCC installed new mechanical and process components, including a new hydraulic grinder, associated power pack, new dual 12-inch pump-around suction piping and supports inside the new wet well, new motorized jib crane, aluminum covers, wet well supply fan, associated appurtenances, piping, and site improvements.
  • The project also included replacement of existing piping from Manhole 10154 to the new wet well wall and from Manhole 39083A to the new wet well wall, installation of 18-inch HDPE bypass piping, thrust block, concrete encasement, plug valve and tapping valve work when directed by the Engineer, and coordination of bypass pumping for the new and existing wet wells.
  • JCC coordinated the work with electrical, instrumentation, and concrete crews to complete the new wet well expansion, equipment installation, controls integration, startup testing, manufacturer training, O&M manuals, as-built drawings, site cleanup, paving, fencing, landscaping, and final restoration.
  • The Project Was Completed On 31st December,2020
